Another day, another story about how John Mayer creeped a girl out with his inappropriate sex-talk. According to Page Six, Mayer was recently at a bar on New York’s Upper East Side when he and a young woman struck up a conversation. After chatting for a few minutes, he allegedly offered the woman some unsolicited advice as to how to keep a man happy. The source explained “He said that she was going to make someone very happy one day, as long as she remembered to talk dirty while having sex.” At least he didn’t offer to tuck her in or make references to his racist d—, but still, what gives, John Mayer? Are you really that 12-years-old that you need to tell a stranger this kind of stuff?
We just hope Mayer’s skeeze didn’t rub off too much on Taylor Swift’s sweet, impressionable little self. Once upon a time, Zac Efron’s hair was even more of a big deal than Justin Bieber’s. That time has passed though, because now that Efron is a fairly legit actor, he’ll do what it takes to commit to his craft, even if that includes shaving off his signature locks.
Efron just wrapped filming in Louisiana on his latest movie, The Lucky One, in which he plays a Marine. He’s seen here posing with a fan and sporting his new military buzz cut. Efron didn’t want to go it alone, however, and was able to convince the crew of the film to shave their heads too for charity. Thirty crew members reportedly shaved their heads, and for each one, Efron made a donation to Kingsley House, a home for kids in New Orleans. A spokeswoman for Efron said he was motivated to help because “he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there.”

Actor gets a military 'do for 'The Lucky One' and urges film's crew to get in on the haircuts for charity.

Zac Efron already ditched his token shaggy locks for a flipped-up 'do in "Charlie St. Cloud," but now he's made a radical hair change that could rival Watsongate. Efron traded his pretty head of hair for a military buzz cut while he was filming on the set of "The Lucky One," and a fan who snapped a photo with the former Disney star debuted Efron's new look via Twitter.

Filming wrapped on "The Lucky One" on Tuesday, but Efron decided he wasn't going to be the only lucky member of the crew to walk away with a shorter haircut. Since everyone is feeling charitable for the holidays, Efron made a deal with the crew of "The Lucky One" last week. For every crewmember who shaved their heads like he did, Efron would donate cash to the local charity Kingsley House. The Louisiana-based organization lists its mission as educating children, strengthening families and building community.

Thirty crewmembers took Efron up on his proposal, New Orleans' daily paper the Times-Picayune reported, including two who donated their hair to Locks of Love. The exact amount of money Efron has agreed to donate to Kingsley House hasn't been announced yet, but the Times-Picayune is reporting that it's thousands of dollars.

"He likes doing things for charity -- two Make-A-Wish kids made a visit to the set while he was there -- and he felt like he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there," Efron's publicist Gina Hoffman told the New Orleans newspaper.

So for everyone out there hoping Efron's radical hair change was a result of his recent breakup with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, your hopes have gone unanswered. When People recently caught up with Hudgens at her birthday party last week, she also confirmed that she and Efron are "good" after their split.

With both sides complaining that the other didn’t make them a priority, you have to wonder why these two got married in the first place.

Rathbone's label may release the upcoming album from his own band, 100 Monkeys, in addition to other artists' music.

Because filming a blockbuster film, working on a new album and going on tour apparently aren't keeping him busy enough, Jackson Rathbone has decided to set up his own record label, too. In an interview with Zooey magazine, Rathbone revealed that he'll soon be known for the artists he helps develop, as well as for his acting and his own music.

The multitasking star best known for portraying of Jasper Hale in "The Twilight Saga" is currently filming "Breaking Dawn" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and also is working on finishing his next album with his rock group, 100 Monkeys. His fellow bandmates went with him to the movie set so that they could complete the album and kick off a 10-day tour starting after Christmas. 100 Monkeys member Jerad Anderson confirmed to MTV News that Rathbone would indeed be starting a record label, through which he'll release material by other artists.

"We might be putting the [100 Monkeys] record out on this label," Anderson reported. "We haven't collectively decided as a band yet."

The group also scored "Girlfriend," an indie flick featuring Rathbone and Anderson that made its premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival. They haven't received official confirmation whether the movie will play at the 2011 South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, but considering 100 Monkeys will be performing during that festival, Anderson said, "It's very likely." He added, "The movie has momentum coming from a successful debut [in] Toronto. "

When the band embarks on their tour after the holiday, MTV cameras will be on the bus documenting the behind the scenes of 100 Monkeys' daily adventures. "Should be interesting..." Anderson said. MTV has already gotten an inside look into the life of the group thanks to some Web diaries that Rathbone recorded. Rathbone also has been hard at work on the set of McG's new Web series, "Aim High."

And, of course, filming continues on "Breaking Dawn," as the final two installments of "The Twilight Saga" inch closer to completion. The first official picture from the film hit the Internet in November, and some paparazzi photos have been released of and the Volturi in costume.

In the wake of serious injuries during a preview performance, producers of the troubled "Spider-Man" Broadway musical met with officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the New York State Department of Labor on Wednesday to put new safety measures in place for the ambitious $65 million production.

Reuters reported that following the meetings, new safety procedures were put into place in an attempt to avoid the kind of accident that injured 31-year-old aerialist Christopher Tierney. The performer fell 20 feet after a safety cable malfunctioned during a show on Monday and was hospitalized in serious condition.

Among the new rules enacted are a requirement to have a second stagehand and stage manager to back up all of the show's 38 stunts involving harnesses and ropes.

"All of these accidents are a result of safety and health systems failures," said Maureen Cox, director of safety and health for the New York State Department of Labor.

The performers union Actors Equity Association said the fall that injured Tierney was caused by human error, though it did not specify what that error was. The show's director, Julie Taymor, released a statement Tuesday reiterating the importance of safety on the stage of the show, which has been plagued by a series of missed opening dates and injuries to four performers.

"I am so thankful that Chris is going to be all right and is in great spirits," Taymor said. "Nothing is more important than the safety of our Spider-Man family and we'll continue to do everything in our power to protect the cast and crew."

Cox said the investigation into what caused Tierney to fall and whether there were any safety codes broken is ongoing. "At this point, we are satisfied that they have put in the appropriate controls," Cox said of the new safety measures. "If they are not comfortable and haven't got everything in place, we have agreed that they wouldn't go, and so apparently that is the position that they are in right now."

As of now, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" preview performances will proceed as planned on Thursday (December 23), and the official Broadway opening date has been pushed back from January 11 to February 7. Wednesday's matinee and evening shows were the only performances canceled due to Tierney's injury.

If Gwyneth Paltrow is in a movie, you can assume at least once person thinks it will be a great one: Gwyneth. Paltrow told PopEater “my time out of my house and away from my kids is no joke,” and that she only takes roles her children Apple and Moses would “be proud of…they’ll look back and go, ‘Wow, Mom was alright.’” Why did we match that quote with a picture of Gwyneth going commando at a Country Strong screening? Because we’re evil, evil people.

There?s no doubt he?s one of the most talented actors in Hollywood, and now Christian Bale is set to star in an upcoming film directed by China?s most famous director, Zhang Yimou.

The movie, which has a 90.2 million dollar budget, is called ?Nanjing Hereos? and will revolve around the year 1937 when Japanese troops killed thousands of Chinese citizens in what was then the nation?s capital.

Mr Bale will play an American priest named John who helps a great number of Chinese escape certain death.

Filming will begin on January 10th near Nanjing and will be shot about 40% English and the rest in Mandarin Chinese.

Despite the fact that they have had many months and approximately one billion press junkets to clear it up, apparently rumors that Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are dating are exactly what the Blue Valentine stars are aiming for. In an interview airing tonight on ABC News Nightline, host Cynthia McFadden straight-out asked Michelle and Ryan if they are romantically entangled. The answer they gave is half-middle-school, half-mime, and totally unsatisfying.
First Ryan whistled and looked around, pretending as if he hadn’t heard the question. People can see you through the television screen, Gosling! Michelle just grinned silently while Ryan, after calling Williams a “sexy cowboy,” drapes his arm around her and shakes his head while grinning smugly. Whaaa? Warning: do not read this post if you have a heart. We all know the Kardashians love the holidays, but one season was certainly tainted when Kim Kardashian’s Christmas puppy died. It happened “when I was really little,” explained Kardashian. “Valentina was its name, but then she died two weeks later.” NOOOOOO! We can feel our heart growing three sizes, as it fills with our tears. According to Kim, lil’ Valentina went to the dog park into the sky after suffering from “snail poisoning.” Says Kardashian, “You know when snails leave a little trail? [Valentina] got super excited and ate it and died.” See, this is why rich people shouldn’t have escargot just lying around the house! It’s a tragedy waiting to strike.
While Kim still sniffles over this and other misty Christmas memories, her older sister apparently has had her heart replaced with a lump of coal. “Kourtney would come down [Christmas morning] and wouldn’t care, and she didn’t really care that it was Christmas, while I was like, ‘Oh my God! After sky-rocketing to fame thanks to her role in ?Glee,? Lea Michele always new she?d be a star.

In an old video from 1998, in which Lea is just 12-years-old, the Rachel Berry actress told, "Being in the business has kind of made me grow up so fast, because I'm around so many older actors that I just learned so much so fast. Everyone says, 'You know, you're so mature!' ... I can do anything, and that's how I kind of stay sane in this really tough, dog-eat-dog business."

The young singer, who started out in Broadway performances like ?Les Miserable? and ?Ragtime,? continued to tell in the footage, "In sixth grade, I tried to going to regular school, which was very difficult, because some days, I'd come late, and they'd be like, 'Well, why are you late?' And I'd say, 'Because I'm tired. I have a show to do.' "

She finished, "And then I have my friends that are like, 'Wow, you're on Broadway,? which I hate to be treated that way. That, I think, has been the worst part of being in the theatrical business."
